Process

[Notes]

For this project, multiple forms of abstraction were explored, ultimately leading to a hand-painted, animated aesthetic that reflected the music’s energy. The process began with a video shoot to capture raw footage, which served as the foundation for the visual style. Each frame of a selected video snippet was exported into Photoshop, where a textured, painterly effect was created by painting over them. The frames were then reassembled in After Effects, resulting in an animated sequence with a lively, six-frames-per-second rhythm that brought the artwork to life.
